In 2015, he began researching a novel based on the history of Connacht during the 16th century. Centring on two leading Gaelic figures of the time. In 2024, he finished his second novel. “Grace and Richard: the last of the chieftains;” chronicles the story of two Gaelic leaders who were also a married couple.
